Description
If this is your first semester at Odessa College, welcome! Attending Wrangler Orientation is an important step in starting your journey at OC. Wrangler Orientation helps you learn about the resources available to support your success, connect with fellow students, and meet OC faculty/staff.
Super Saturday is our first Spring Orientation, and we encourage you to bring a guest with you! If you haven’t registered for classes yet, Academic Success Coaches (Advisors) will be available from 9-12 PM. Wrangler Orientation check-in starts at 12:00 PM, and Program will start at 1:00 PM.

- Can I bring a guest?
Yes! You’re welcome to bring guest(s) with you to orientation.
- Do I need to stay the whole day?
Yes, we highly recommend staying for the full orientation. Important information about classes, campus resources, and student life will be covered throughout the day, plus, there are fun activities and giveaways you won’t want to miss!
- Is Wrangler Orientation Mandatory?
Yes, orientation is required for all incoming students. It’s the best way to set yourself up for success!
- What do I need to bring?
Bring a photo ID, your student ID number, access to your high school transcript, and bring lots of question. If you’ve already submitted documents (like vaccination records or transcripts), double-check your student portal to make sure everything is complete. Comfortable clothes and a positive attitude are also a plus!
- What if I need special accommodation? (Translator, Mobility & Physical Access, Dietary Needs, Visual & Hearing Accessibility)

- Where do I park?
Free parking will be available in front of the Saulsbury Campus Center or the Wood Health Sciences Building (MCH Simulation Hospital). Yellow and white parking spots, look for signs or staff to guide you when you arrive.
- What should I wear?
Dress comfortably and casually. You’ll be walking around campus, so wear shoes you can walk in and bring a light jacket in case it gets chilly indoors.
- Where is check-in?
Spring Orientation check-in will take place on the first floor foyer of the Saulsbury Campus Center (SCC), starting at 12 PM.
From 9-12 PM: Advisors will be available for any advising questions, and the Financial Aid office will also be on-site to assist with financial aid needs. Everything will be conveniently located in the same building.
- Will there be chances to connect with other students?
Definitely! Orientation includes tabling from active registered student organization, odessa college departments, and community resources, icebreakers, group activities, and lunch! All great opportunities to meet other new students and start making connections.
